St George’s Hall

Join The Sinfonia Stellaris for a captivating evening of classical music, filled with works that span the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras. The concert opens with the lively overture to Mozart’s La finta giardiniera, followed by the beautifully nostalgic Irish Tune from County Derry, better known as ‘Danny Boy’.  Haydn’s inventive Symphony No. 47, famous for its “palindrome” structure, will close the first half with its clever symmetry and playful charm.

After the interval, we return with Handel’s sparkling Arrival of the Queen of Sheba before one of Mozart’s most elegant symphonies—Symphony No. 29—a masterpiece that showcases his youthful brilliance.
