Summer Classics with The Sinfonia Stellaris

Di Xiao and Annette Jackson

This year’s Summer Concert for 2023 will be staged in the  Routh Hall, Bromsgrove on the 30th of September at 7.30pm

Join us as we play for you a very special evening of classical favourites.  As well as Mozart’s overture to the opera ‘The Magic Flute’, we are delighted to be joined once again by the amazing  Di Xiao , a virtuoso performer hailed as ‘a pianist of awesome gifts’, to play Mozart’s stunning concerto in C Minor, K491, under the direction of the Orchestra’s Artistic Director, Founder and Principal Conductor – Annette Jackson.

Following Beethoven’s awe inspiring overture to Goethe’s ‘Egmont’ the concert concludes with a particularly poignant performance of Haydn’s ‘Farewell’ Symphony, as the Orchestra thanks Annette Jackson for her dedication, musicality and leadership and play a musical thank you and goodbye for now, as she hands over her baton to Dexter Drown.
